Video: Exclusive: Paul - TrailerET: The Extraterrestrial, Mac & Me, The Aurora Encounter, War of the Worlds, District 9 and over a thousand other movies have introduced generations to humanity's take on Aliens. Fire in The Sky had spindly, scary beings that seemed to mimic the examples of close encounter descriptions. But Greys, as they have been known to the UFO community have never been fully realized for film. There's always something benevolent or Disney-like about large headed ET's with humongous eyes and spindly bodies. They make you want to be their friends. They don't make you want to crawl into your own skin and hide. But then there is Simon Pegg's/ Nick Frost's PAUL.Two geeks go on a cross country road trip with an Alien and comedy should ensue. In fact, it is inevitable that comedy will ensue because Pegg and Frost are hilarious. There's just one problem......PAUL is scary! No, not PAUL the film. PAUL the actual creature/alien/nightmare. His animatronic/CGI facial expressions...his uncanny resemblance to all that is evil, scary and just plain wrong about Close Encounters...it's all there. Despite the humour and the fact that PAUL is voiced by Seth Rogen...it's SCARY!Take a look at the trailer and let me know what you think. I thought the wooden boy in the upcoming NUTCRACKER movie was scary, but this...this takes the cake. And yeah, I'm totally watching it. Nightmares be damned.
