Driving west down 50 hwy, i had seen a bright light to the north of the highway. I kept looking at it. It looked like a search light at first but was not moving, it was getting brighter and more pronounced into a triangle shape (with three lights). There was a lighter colored object to the west side of the light that also became a 3 lighted triangle. (My friend that was driving also saw the lights after i had mentioned something.) These two objects were hovering. The lights began to fade one after another after a good 3 minutes and small violet/blue objects shot off and headed west in a straight line. The very last violet/blue light was quickly flying around the other lights. There was no sound, nothing else in the air at the time.
