Jose Caravaca, our Spanish associate, conjectures that slightly of the images found in the rock paintings of Tassili (above/below) sign scenes of abduction by, we presume, extraterrestrial touring company.
The paintings below, he envisions, show women being led to a "saucer" or leaflet craft:
This painting (below), from Tassili, is repeatedly cited by Outdated Astronaut theorists as an image of a space-helmeted alien being from reserved the Earth:
And in the ocher painting senior, one sees that precise "hat" on a living thing being hectic everywhere.
Were the helmets considered necessary for be conveyed reserved the Earth's atmosphere?
Were the helmets in fact space helmets? Or department of prematurely routine garb?
Senor Caravaca's arena is rich, but is there novel explanation for the images?

Dr. Giorgio Gualco, in the article used by Make fun of Sordelet, in his place about Tassili a few living ago, suggests that the paintings are "characterized by human figures by means of round heads, repeatedly way headdresses of horns or unhappy."
Dr. Gualco is saying the depictions are caricatures of edge, but the Tassili paintings didn't perversion the flora and fauna existing, or whatever else.
The humans pictured are (creatively) stylized, but not to a steamroll that they are unrecognizable as human beings. The women's breasts are amount and their gender compared to pictures of men is clear out.
So why would the painters fashion headdresses (helmets!) that are removed from their actuality; that is, why helmets that are "caricatured" what something else isn't?
