Ufo People They Are The Worst Generally

This is our Blogger stats for the past week.

We usually have a little over a 1000 visitors each day, most leaving no indication that they've been here.

That spike on November 25th comes from the Roswell slides imbroglio.

But that's not my plaint...

What irritates is that UFO devotees are facile, glib when it comes to commenting or investigating a UFO sighting, old or new.

For instance, the brilliant Eric Wargo was linked here, his take on worm holes, the Hill episode, et cetera.

Only erudite Bruce Duensing commented, probably because he's one of the few readers here who understood what Mr. Wargo was telling us.

I've also added a few controversial topics which have either received no comments or passing asides.

The topics, whether the link to a "report" that a scientist thought nuclear war took place on Mars in the past or my view that the gods were human projections not alien visitors from other parts of the cosmos, have been shrugged off.

At our private UFO web-site where non-UFO students and academics hover, we get interesting and often bizarre views that provoke thought and creative thinking about UFOs and related issues.

And everyone uses their real names.

I like it that readers cruise by. I hope they take away something unique, from the past or from my ramblings.

But is you've got guts and thoughts that are intellectually oriented, please leave a note.

Kevin Randle accepts slovenly comments at his valuable blog; he's more compassionate about dullards and their flippant remarks. (I'm not, as Frank Stalter notes at Kevin's blog.)

So I'll continue here, for a while, as getting views is not as bad as being ignored altogether.

But I'd sure like to hear from those who have something to say -- something notable of course -- but something, nonetheless.

The UFO topic is conversationally moribund. I know that, but it still has enough interest by mavens to create a stir, as the slides brouhaha showed.

So don't just look here. Leave a note. (I won't make fun of it.)

Nasa Voyager 1 Spacecraft Encounters Unknown Region Of Space

LOS ANGELES -- New research pinpoints the current location of NASAs Voyager 1 spacecraft: Its still in our solar system.

Since last summer, the long-running spacecraft has been exploring uncharted territory where the effects of interstellar space, or the space between stars, can be felt. Scientists dont know how thick this new found region in the solar system is or how much farther Voyager 1 has to travel to break to the other side.

"It could actually be anytime or it could be several more years," said chief scientist Ed Stone of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which manages the mission.

Stone first described this unexpected zone at a meeting of the American Geophysical Union last year. A trio of papers published online Thursday in the journal Science confirmed just how strange this new layer is.

Soon after Voyager 1 crossed into this region last August, low-energy charged particles that had been plentiful suddenly zipped outside while high-energy cosmic rays from interstellar space streamed inward. Readings by one of Voyager 1s instruments showed an abrupt increase in the magnetic field strength, but there was no change in the direction of the magnetic field lines - a sign that Voyager 1 has not yet exited the solar system.

Voyager 1 and its twin, Voyager 2, were launched in 1977 to visit the giant gas planets, beaming back dazzling postcards of Jupiter, Saturn and their moons. Voyager 2 went on to tour Uranus and Neptune. After planet-hopping, they were sent on a trajectory toward interstellar space.

Voyager 1 is about 11 1/2 billion miles from the sun. Voyager 2 is about 9 1/2 billion miles from the sun. The nuclear-powered spacecraft have enough fuel to operate their instruments until around 2020....

Russian Navy Ufos Usos And Humanoid Creatures Seen Near Our Submarines And Nato Fleet

USO's: Unidentified Submerged Objects or Underwater-UFOs or UFOs leaving water or entering water are an underreported phenomenon.

The Russian navy has declassified its records of encounters with unidentified objects technologically surpassing anything humanity ever built, reports Svobodnaya Pressa news website.

The records dating back to soviet times were compiled by a special navy group collecting reports of unexplained incidents delivered by submarines and military ships. The group was headed by deputy Navy commander Admiral Nikolay Smirnov, and the documents reveal numerous cases of possible UFO encounters, the website says.

Vladimir Azhazha, former navy officer and a famous Russian UFO researcher, says the materials are of great value. "Fifty percent of UFO encounters are connected with oceans. Fifteen more - with lakes. So UFOs tend to stick to the water," he said.

NUCLEAR SUBMARINE

On one occasion a nuclear submarine, which was on a combat mission in the Pacific Ocean, detected six unknown objects. After the crew failed to leave behind their pursuers by maneuvering, the captain ordered to surface. The objects followed suit, took to the air, and flew away.

Many mysterious events happened in the region of Bermuda Triangle, recalls retired submarine commander Rear Admiral Yury Beketov. Instruments malfunctioned with no apparent reason or detected strong interference. The former navy officer says this could be deliberate disruption by UFOs.

"On several occasions the instruments gave reading of material objects moving at incredible speed. Calculations showed speeds of about 230 knots, of 400 kph. Speeding so fast is a challenge even on the surface. But water resistance is much higher. It was like the objects defied the laws of physics. There's only one explanation: the creatures who built them far surpass us in development," Beketov said.

Navy intelligence veteran, Captain 1st rank Igor Barklay comments: "Ocean UFOs often show up wherever our or NATO's fleets concentrate. Near Bahamas, Bermudas, Puerto Rico. They are most often seen in the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean, in the southern part of the Bermuda Triangle, and also in the Caribbean Sea."

LAKE BAIKAL

Another place where people often report UFO encounters is Russia's Lake Baikal, the deepest fresh water body in the world. Fishermen tell of powerful lights coming from the deep and objects flying up from the water.

In one case in 1982 a group of military divers training at Baikal spotted a group of humanoid creatures dressed in silvery suits. The encounter happened at a depth of 50 meters, and the divers tried to catch the strangers. Three of the seven men died, while four others were severely injured.

"I think about underwater bases and say: why not? Nothing should be discarded," says Vladimir Azhazha."Skepticism is the easiest way: believe nothing, do nothing. People rarely visit great depths. So it's very important to analyze what they encounter there."

Since the inception of JANAP-146 in 1948, the Navy has had a role in providing intelligence on unidentified targets. However, the early Navy participation in JANAP was limited to sightings by Navy aircraft and not by ships at sea. It was not until 1952, via OPNAV Instruction 3820, that Navy ships were commanded to send UFO reports to the ADC, ATIC, and the Pentagon. By 1954, when JANAP 146 (C) was issued, all military, government, and merchant vessels had to report unidentified sightings to CONAD.

USCG ships that reported UFOs were mainly ocean going cutters that were performing Ocean Station duty. The first USGC ship to report a UFO was from an Ocean Station in the Atlantic in 1952.

UFO reports in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans between ships and airplanes shows that 40% of the ship reports were in the Atlantic and 60% were in the Pacific Ocean. Aircraft sightings also tended to be higher in the Pacific Ocean at 76%.

I was walking along the Poudre trail headed West when I thought I saw a bear in the distance. This would be unusual but not unheard of. I felt afraid and wondered if my eyes were playing tricks on me. It was approximately 0730 on 7/6/14. I did not see any other people on the trail and felt very uneasy for the entire walk.

I told myself that I had scared myself related to the potential bear sighting. It was a beautiful morning with no clouds whatsoever. I saw a reflection of something way up in the sky that caught my eye. When I really focused on it, it did not appear to be moving and there was no sound. I quickly took photos and told myself that I would review them when I got home. The object disappeared. I continued to walk to the west on the trail and remained very uneasy.

I finally turned around and headed east. As I was walking I kept seeing flashes in the sky that I couldn't explain. I thought maybe it was the sun and decided to take a few short videos as I walked. I saw a few bicyclists on the way back and they were very pleasant as they rode by. However,I felt almost panicked by the time I got to my car and wanted to be indoors.
