PURPLE UFO INTERRUPTS PERU TV SHOW
A television production crew in Lima, Peru, videotaped a purple-colored disc-shaped UFO hovering in the distant sky near a construction site. So far, there's no official explanation for the object.
According to Peru This Week, television show "Alto al Crimen" was shooting an episode in the upscale Miraflores district of Lima on Feb. 10. The show's host, Lima Congressman Renzo Reggiardo, halted an interview to allow his camera operator to focus on the strange-looking purple object in the sky.
Both distant and zoomed-in perspectives of the UFO reveal a saucer-shaped object, with a large central bright purple section, tapering off on either end. The extreme right end appears almost black in color, while the opposite end seems to be a darker purple shade than the center part of the object. The video also reveals that sometimes the two dark ends appear to become smaller and larger.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the aerial object for up to two hours, and yet, no video has emerged showing how the UFO left the scene. So, the question remains: How, exactly, did it go away? Did it fall to the ground, float away or speed up and vanish over the nearby ocean? Or perhaps (as in some UFO reports over the years), did it simply vanish?
The Peru chapter of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is investigating this case, seeking more eyewitnesses who may have videotaped the purple aerial object from different vantage points. Watch video at THP
FAKE MONSTERS USED TO STUDY PEOPLE'S REACTIONS
Experts have been using fake monsters to test how people report encounters with mythical creatures.
One exercise saw one person unleashed in a popular Edinburgh attraction dressed in a gorilla suit, as part of a study to see how people react to so-called Bigfoot sightings.
The experts have also used props and costumes to create other beasts.
The team from the University of St Andrews, Fife, are keeping tight-lipped about their research until it has been published in a scientific journal.
But Dr Charles Paxton, a research fellow and statistical ecologist at the university, explained the "serious study" would help his team find statistical patterns in accounts of weird and wonderful sightings. He admitted: "People think it's a bit odd till I explain what I'm doing."
The Bigfoot experiment took place at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
They chose the venue as it has 50 giant redwoods - similar to those that adorn the US forests where Sasquatch sightings are generally reported.
He said: "It's like the area where you get reports of Bigfoot. There are other experiments that have involved fake monsters."
The garden visitors were all told they were taking part in an experiment beforehand.
One group were told to look out for Bigfoot and sent on a route that would bring the fake gorilla into view. They were later asked to report their sighting.
The other group didn't get to see the fake primate but they were asked to write down a personal account as if they had.
The study then looked at differences in the two sets of accounts.
The team revealed details of their Bigfoot study at a day of talks in Edinburgh yesterday.
It covered a diverse range of subjects such as "Nazi flying saucers", "Bigfoot" and the "evolution of sea monsters".
But the academics maintain they aren't just monkeying around as their prop-laden projects have sound scientific methods and aims.
Dr Paxton previously catalogued all known sightings of the Loch Ness monster to look for consistencies or patterns which could be explained by natural phenomena.
"It's a serious study of people reporting things," he said. "I'm trying to see if there are statistical patterns.
"All my work gets published in proper scientific journals. All I do is with the aim of getting proper results." - Sunday Post
DOZENS OF NEW CRATERS APPEAR IN SIBERIA
Respected Moscow scientist Professor Vasily Bogoyavlensky has called for 'urgent' investigation of the new phenomenon amid safety fears.
Until now, only three large craters were known about in northern Russia with several scientific sources speculating last year that heating from above the surface due to unusually warm climatic conditions, and from below, due to geological fault lines, led to a huge release of gas hydrates, so causing the formation of these craters in Arctic regions.
Two of the newly-discovered large craters - also known as funnels to scientists - have turned into lakes, revealed Professor Bogoyavlensky, deputy director of the Moscow-based Oil and Gas Research Institute, part of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The UFO question?
Well people you can all relax now, the governments of the world really have been telling us the truth about UFO's. There really is no such thing.
Not because alien space craft do not exist, but because no "Unidentified" flying objects exist. The truth in a lie of omission. Something much easier to do with a straight face. They have known for many years that alien's and their crafts exist, so the statement that no UFO's exist is true. They figure if they can keep us asking the wrong questions they won't have to answer the questions that are truly pertinent. We need to get off the "Do they exist" question and on to the questions they really don't want to answer
The questions we should be asking are: Who are they? Where are they from? And What is their purpose in being here?
Does any one else think it odd that there are so many reported UFO crashes? One would think that civilizations capable of interstellar or inter-dimensional travel would also be able to minimize or eliminate "crashes". Are these crashes mistakes? (I think not) Or are they the result of craft being damaged by warfare?
The ancient texts from India & elsewhere depict a war between "The God's" and describes in detail their use of highly advanced craft & weapons. The texts also describe multiple factions of "God's" who evidently disagree on the treatment of Earth, it's resources & inhabitants.
What I suspect is that there is an ongoing conflict, as depicted in the ancient texts, between multiple alien culture,s over the Earth.
And due to our technological infancy, compared to them. We are in no position to actually do anything about the situation. The governments of Earth know we are helpless in the face of the alien's technology, and do not want us to freak out over their powerlessness. Thus the "Keep the facts secret" position.
Whether or not aliens exist is not a relevant question, just from the numbers stand point alone. Which most scientists will readily agree, is highly probable. The more appropriate questions are, how many exist? And what are their agendas?
If in fact there is a war going on over the Earth, it's resources and inhabitants, the outcome over which we have little or no input or control, ignorance could truly be bliss.

I've been too rushed to post for about a week, so I thought it a good idea to put some little something up before I trek back to Michigan, as who knows if there will be time there or not.
The fractional government document above is a section of a Pentagon UFO report from the earliest days. I photocopied it from Dr. Hynek's personal papers, as he had an original. I then selected out the majority of it to use in a paper. Notice that it is "clean": no markings on it nor scribbled out witness names. Most of the on-line documents from the Blue Book microfilms are not like this, but clean microfilm copies do exist elsewhere. But the reason that I'm making a post is the image below.
This is the image you get from the typical on-line source. [It's the full page without me "selecting" just the gist of the report]. And it's messy. It happens, however, that it's the kind of messy that historians like.
This case was one of the early military reports from the 1947 "beginning" wave. Wright-Patterson was not yet receiving the reports. This case from Maxwell field, involving four witnesses, was sent through channels to TAC at Langley Field, and from there onto the Pentagon. It took one week to get from Maxwell HQ to Langley [officers at Maxwell were probably not yet sure of what they were supposed to do with something like this], and then four more days to get into the Pentagon. I.E. "Received AFBIR-CO 11-July 47". That means that the report went to Air Force Intelligence [AFBIR at the time] and was received at the desk of the Chief of the Collection Division [CO]. That chief was Colonel Robert Taylor III. He passed it on to his top assistant Lt. Colonel George Garrett. How do we know that, other than "logic"?
Look at that "wonderful" grease marker circled 5 at the bottom of the page. You might think it stupid, but that circled 5 makes me smile. That indicates that this paper was the exact copy that George Garrett spread out on his desk that fateful day in late July/early August [along with several others] to begin making the first ever estimate-of-the-situation. This case, Maxwell field, was his "fifth" case in that estimate. The Kenneth Arnold, EJ Smith cases etc were others.
That moment in UFO history created a snowballing effect leading to Brigadier General George Shulgen's asking all services and commands whether we had developed anything like this, and then separately asking AMC at Wright-Pat the same thing. Wright-Patterson's reply became the now-famous "Twining Memo". This exact sheet of paper led to the USAF admission that the flying disks were real.
Stare a bit at it folks. Sacred document. History right there before your eyes.

I am going to tell you about an 18 year old boy named Carlos Henriane Guedes Machado. His father is Antonio Xavier Machado. He lives in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Natal is the state capital of Rio Grande Do Norte state. He does not speak English, only Portuguese, as his family also does. Carlos is a student.
Carlos gets telepathic messages from ETs. "Blue Galaxy" is their place. "Blue Galaxy" is not yet known to Earth's astronomers.
It all started after Carlos saw a television program explaining things about extraterrestrial communication. He becomes like a robot when he gets the messages. Sometimes communications can also occur at school or even in the streets. That is why his parents are afraid to let him go alone to the beach or some other place. He mostly gets messages at night, when he is at home.
Usually he gets up and goes to a room, or the small yard, to receive the messages. He speaks with a different voice tone and has a different look in the eyes while getting the messages. Many times he almost falls back to the floor when the messages end. The ETs punish him if he doesn't follow their requests. He has already fallen back to the floor, or stayed without voice for some time, as a punishment. But they really do not cause him any physical harm.
His mother and one of his sisters are afraid of the ETs. His father understands and accepts the case a little bit more than the others in his family. His parents are worried and want all this to end but it doesn't.
His father sent him to spiritualistic sessions, but nothing connected to it was detected. They have even taken him to doctors who gave him some medicines for him to get stronger. He is a thin boy.
The ETs have told, through him on March 23, 1983 "for him to move out of Natal City before 3 years from that time. There will be a high sea wave caused... (exactly here the lamp above me went off alone without me doing anything! I think it was caused by the ETs. The lamp went off by itself, it turned off alone while I was writing this sentence exactly in the word "caused." Sometimes before this the lamp in my living room, and where I am writing this letter now, has done this ((on another day)). But why did it do this now? Were the Beings who did this invisible? I think so. I had my hair stand up all over my body. Now it is OK again. I have turned on the other lamp too, and I'm going to keep on writing the sentence. I hope it won't happen again. I just hop so... )...by the moon. Haley's Comet will also cause destruction in the Northeastern Drought Region."
Some of the Being's names are "Ponto 8" - Point 8, "Ponto 0" - Point 0, "Kimbernents" and "Oxim." The ETs ask about water, gold, atom power, computers, etc. They say the word day is "Sun," not day. "We'll have to capture terrestrial being (Carlos) for 30 "suns" (or days). What's the biggest power on Earth?" -- "Atom Power," I said, answering them through Carlos.
For them -- "1 time" = 1 minute -- satellite "wink" is the moon and "to be" = is, are. ETs are against smoking and cigarettes. Once they said I was one of them on Earth (an ET living here). They also asked Carlos, or anybody else, to let the radio station know about their messages. "Our spaceship has just been seen by some earthlings, not you." (The people who were there in the yard.) "Tell urgently to Radio station."
Terrestrial Being (Carlos) will be punished. "I'll go." His eyes have a different brightness while he's getting the messages. He gets power from power sockets and switches in his house rooms, pointing straight fingers close to power sockets and switches.
Once we had gone to a beach close to Natal to try to get in touch with Extraterrestrial Beings with his father, Carlos, and two other people besides myself, but we could not see any UFO or Extraterrestrial Beings.
I believe his case is a truthful one, although I cannot prove it to you.
When it was nearing the time to come back to Sao Paulo from the Northeast of Brasil, they had stopped sending messages to him.
I didn't get any letter yet, since I have gotten back to Sao Paulo after that 3 month trip to the Northeast of Brasil.
Before meeting Carlos I was visitng another person and met an unknown girl in Natal close to his street. I asked that girl to take a photo of myself and some other people. She also appeared in my photo and her sister took the photo of us all. When I got to the street corner I asked the girl to give her address or phone number and I have given her mine too (in Natal). I also visited a woman who deals with UFOs in Natal who gave me Carlos's address in Natal and his phone number too. Then I decided to call the girl one day. To my big surprise, she told me she was Carlos's sister. Then I checked the telephone number and it was the same as Carlos's.
I then found out that the ETs from the "Blue Galaxy" wanted me to meet Carlos anyhow. Perhaps that was the most important meeting and thing that I did during all the 3 month trip to the Northeast of Brazil.

UFO ACTIVITY AROUND SUN EMULATES STAR TREK BORG CUBEImages captured through a National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) and SOHO iPad application have revealed unidentified flying objects, akin to Star Trek `Borg Cubes' episodes, coming out of the surface of the sun. This phenomenon has been sighted twice, a few days ago as per UFO Sightings Daily. The first sighting was at 1300 hours on 29th April 2013 and the second sighting was done at 0106 hours on 30th April 2013. SOHO is the official Nascom site that gives information on the mission being carried out on the space-born solar observatory.Attention could be drawn to thesunproject.net which had reported similar sighting as mentioned in the `UFO Sightings Daily' site on 14th November 2012, just a week before the Mayan apocalypse day for the world. When we look at these shots here, we wonder whether these UFOs are trying to send a message that seeks to tie into Earth's organized religions. Indeed, the Book of Revelation refers to these Cubic entities.These cubes are going round the sun and they could even head toward planet Earth. The Mysterious Life and Death
of Philip Schneider

FOR SEVERAL DAYS IN A ROW, AL HAD GONE TO PHIL'S APARTMENT, IN WILLSONVILLE, OREGON, SAW HIS CAR IN THE PARKING LOT, BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER AT THE DOOR. FINALLY, ON JANUARY 17TH, 1996, AL PRATT, ALONG WITH THE MANAGER OF THE AUTUMN PARK APARTMENTS AND A DETECTIVE FROM THE CLACKAMAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ENTERED THE APARTMENT. INSIDE, THEY FOUND THE BODY OF PHILIP SCHNEIDER. APPARENTLY HE HAD BEEN DEAD FOR FIVE TO SEVEN DAYS. THE CLACKAMAS COUNTY CORONER'S OFFICE INITIALLY ATTRIBUTED PHILIP SCHNEIDER'S DEATH TO A STROKE. HOWEVER, IN THE FOLLOWING DAYS DISTURBING DETAILS ABOUT HIS DEATH BEGAN TO SURFACE, LEADING SOME TO BELIEVE THAT PHILIP SCHNEIDER HAD NOT DIED FROM A STROKE, BUT HAD IN FACT BEEN MURDERED.
Philip Schneider's life was certainly as controversial as his death. He was born on April 23, 1947 at Bethesda Navy Hospital. Philip's parents were Oscar and Sally Schneider. Oscar Schneider was a Captain in the United States Navy, worked in nuclear medicine and helped design the first nuclear submarines. Captain Schneider was also part of OPERATION CROSSROADS, which was responsible for the testing of nuclear weapons in the Pacific AT Bikini Island. In a lecture videotaped in May 1996, Philip Schneider claimed that his father, Captain Oscar Schneider, was also involved with the infamous "Philadelphia Experiment." In addition, Philip claimed to be an ex-government structural engineer who was involved in building underground military bases (DUMB) around the country, and to be one of only three people to survive the 1979 incident between the alien Grays and U.S. military forces at the Dulce underground base. Philip Schneider's ex-wife, Cynthia Drayer believes that Philip was murdered because he publicly revealed the truth about the U.S. government's involvement with UFOs.
For two years prior to his death, Philip Schneider had been on a lecture tour talking about government cover-ups, black budgets, and UFOs. Philip stated in his lecture that in 1954, under the Eisenhower administration, the federal government decided to circumvent the Constitution and form a treaty with extraterrestrials. The treaty was called the 1954 Greada Treaty.
Officials agreed that for extraterrestrial technology, the Grays could test their implanting techniques on select citizens. However, the extraterrestrials had to inform the government just who had been abducted and subject to implants. Slowly over time, the aliens altered the bargain, abducting and implanting thousands of people without reporting back to the government.
In 1979, Philip was employed by Morrison-Knudsen, Inc. He was involved in building an addition to the deep underground military base at Dulce, New Mexico. The project at that time had drilled four holes in the desert that were to be linked together with tunnels. Philip's job was to go down the holes, check the rock samples, and recommend the explosives to deal with the particular rock. In the process, the workers accidentally opened a large artificial cavern, a secret base for the aliens known as Grays. In the panic that occurred, sixty-seven workers and military personnel were killed, with Philip Schneider being one of only three people to survive. Philip claimed that scars on his chest were caused by his being struck by an alien weapon that would later result in cancer due to the radiation.

A New Jersey witness describes a UFO sighting as "surreal" after watching a cone or bell-shaped object with a dark body and bright, red lights emanating from all sides that moved under 100 mph and was flying under 1,500 feet, according to July 3, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The object's red lights first caught the attention of the witness who was inside watching television - but curiosity sent the witness outside for a better look. Looking out into the clear night, the witness described the odd object.
"It was moving from the west to east when I first saw it," the witness stated. "I could see it very clearly. My first thought was, it was a helicopter, because of the 'deliberate' kind of way it was moving, and also because of its speed being rather slow - maybe under 100 mph, and its height from the ground. But there was no sound and so many lights and they were not blinking."
The witness stated that the object was reminiscent of a World War II Marine mine.
"This was because of the shape and dark color of it, and because the red lights were so bright that they reminded me of the things that stick out from all around a Marine mine."
The object made a large arc through the sky to the south.
"I would estimate its height at about 1000-1500 feet, give or take. The thing was not spinning, because the lights remained in the same places throughout my sighting it. It was passing to the south of my house, in a very large arc from the west to the southeast, so as I continued watching from the backyard. I could see it from the side."
The witness moved to the front yard as the object moved away.
"It got about where I would estimate it was over the ocean, but to the south of me, continuing in that same 'deliberate' way, and still following that big arc to the southeast. So now I was seeing the back end of it, but it was getting farther away, and the leftover daylight in the sky was pretty much gone. Then all the lights except maybe one went out, and within maybe two or three seconds, the whole thing either disappeared, or the last light went out. I didn't see it anymore."
The witness took several days to understand the event and file a report.

Today I 'Googled' neon green UFO Central Florida because I had seen something in October 2012 that I still think about and wonder what it was. That is how I found your site.
I reported seeing a neon green object in the sky during the day (7:55 a.m.) on October 21st, 2012 to the American Meteor Society last year.
There were other reports filed from different locations across Central Florida on the same day and about the same time that I had seen it, so I thought that it must have been a meteor.
However, after seeing the video of the Russian meteor on Feb 15th this year, it really didn't seem like the same type of object that I saw in the sky last October.
The object I saw did not seem to be moving as fast and didn't have a 'trail' behind it. I did not hear any sounds or see a flash as it went behind the tree line. I remember seeing it now as if I had just seen it today.
The object was a really brilliant green. I would describe it as neon green and it looked white hot around the edges. Almost a sizzling whitish look around the neon green ball.
The object was mostly round like a ball, except there was like a teardrop look to it with the small 'tail' looking part of it to the left of it from my vision point. I only observed it for about 3-5 seconds before it went behind the tree line in the northwest.
It appeared to be intact as it went behind the tree line. It looked to be fairly large in the sky through my windshield as I was driving and appeared to be traveling from the south to the north or northwest.
I live in East Central Florida in a small town south of New Smyrna Bch, Fl. The town is about a half an hour north of Kennedy Space Center.
